Delirio

Photographs from Mexico and Guatemala, 2015–2023.

These images were not planned as part of a project. They grew from years of living in a place of hard light and dry heat where I experienced grief and joy, loss and love, and everything that lives between them.

Here, catharsis became possible. Desahogo, relief, breath returning after emerging from a deep plunge, came through photographing my daily life. Delirio is what Mexico gave in return.

The people gave me more than photographs.
